Set Jet has announced a new nonstop service between the San Francisco Bay Area and Los Angeles, Orange County, San Diego and Las Vegas for flights starting January 4, 2021. The new nonstop Bay Area service will launch with two flights per week, per city pair with a goal to continually expand service with increased demand. One-way flights using Set Jet’s ultra-luxurious Bombardier Challenger 850 aircraft exclusively, will cost between $460 and $490 per person, including all taxes and fees.

Set Jet, a Scottsdale-based private jet membership company, has acquired a number of COVID-19 tests and is testing its employees on a regular basis, as well as passengers before they fly.
In early January, Set Jet CEO Tom Smith started paying close attention to the coronavirus outbreak in China and wanted to prepare for when it got to the U.S. Smith, who co-founded TASER International, told the Business Journal he started reaching out to medical manufacturers and health care providers to see if Set Jet could get tests.

To keep flying, the CEO of Set Jet announced a first-of-its-kind venture to offer COVID-19 testing. Tom Smith says, like most people in the travel industry, his private jet charter company based in Scottsdale has been hit hard.
Smith wanted to make sure his small crew, staff and his 2,000 member passengers stayed safe. So he and some resourceful executives found a way to test everyone before they fly, and the idea is taking off.
“If someone wanted to fly, they could come in now and do this COVID-19 antibody test in about 10 to 15 minutes,” Smith explained.
